HIRING: Solar Philippine' Construction Manager


Position: Construction Manager 

Company: Solar Philippines 

Solar Philippines is looking for a Construction Manager who will supervise all on-site construction of solar farm projects, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all employees and contractors assigned to work on the construction of the Solar Farm project.
• Responsible for the daily monitoring of construction quality to ensure that all work is done in accordance with the plans, specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements and contract requirements.
• Communicate construction issues to the contractor and escalates the same to the project manager in case of non-resolution.
• Monitor daily, and review weekly, Contractor’s schedule and project controls to ensure progress is being accurately reported. Assist Contractor, as appropriate, to maintain progress. Review Contractor’s invoices, reports, etc. and verify construction milestone completion.
• Lead daily and weekly project meetings.
• Act as liaison between various contractors in order to facilitate resolution of issues and maintain progress.
• Assist project manager in the review and approval of pay applications in accordance with the contractual terms including review and recommendation of change order approvals.
• Monitor and facilitate tie-ins, start-up and testing to ensure proper turnover to operations. Participate in final project demobilization, documentation and close-out activities.
• Provide leadership, support and training for the on-site Solar Philippines team.
• Responsible for the Safety and Environmental compliance of Solar Philippines personnel and subcontractors on site during construction in accordance with state and local laws, and Solar Philippines policies, practices and procedures.
• Serve as Solar Philippines representative on site with land owners, customers and contractors during the construction phase.
Desired Skills and Experience
• A licensed engineer with an extensive construction background is required
• At least five (5) years experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction, preferably in the solar PV energy industry.
• Has background in construction contracts and familiarity with project finance
• Strong organizational and people skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
·         The NALA Master Data Manager reports on a Night shift duty and is responsible for leading and managing his/her subordinates.
·         Manage the material (product), customer and vendor masterfile from a SAP systems perspective in line with global and regional standards within a set service level to meet the Company's business needs.
·         Undertake a key role in the regional decision making process around new material introductions or changes to existing material master lists from a systems perspective.
·         Business liaison for material (product) , customer and vendor masterfile changes for all products.
·         Establish, enforce & coordinate execution of workflow procedures to bring about timely & accurate population of master data elements.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Set-up and management of the completeness, timeliness & management of material (product), customer and vendor master data collection.
·         Set-up and manage the life cycle of the material (product) masterfile from a systems perspective from product introduction to product retirement in line with global and regional standards within a set service level to meet the Company's business needs and undertake a key role in the regional decision making process around new material introductions or changes to existing material master lists from a systems perspective.
·         Collaborate with Business Owners to develop and publish master data business rules, processes and systems that support product, customer and vendor master data  and undertake regular master data reviews with key business stakeholders to manage duplication and data consistency.
·         Establish, enforce & coordinate execution of workflow procedures to bring about timely & accurate population of master data elements and contribute to up-to-date documentation (procedures, manuals and templates, system settings) concerning the key activities of the master data management.
·         Serve as the primary point of contact for all audit related matters on the objects under their accountability: SOX, Internal Audits.

Desired Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
·         Bachelor degree in a technology or business related field desirable, but not mandatory.
·         3-5 years experience in retail integrated systems and/or supply chain management
·         Experience in working with Master Data or Systems Analysis.
·         Detailed understanding of the company's business areas, their functions, and their objectives and relating that to associated data structures.
·         Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills

Assists the Engineering Director in planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring the effective implementation of preventive maintenance for all Terminal Facilities. Carries out the pre-planned program of Engineering Department in accordance with the approved budget for civil works projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage multiple systems projects simultaneously.
·         Prepare project plans, which includes definition, scope, resources, and schedule.

5. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Director, ITSS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems major. At least 10 years of information technology/project management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. Possesses Project Management certification.
