Job Description

This position contributes to the success of Starbucks Coffee in the Philippines by planning, coordinating, and implementing a system for the accurate accounting, reporting, controlling, and safeguarding of fixed assets.

• Plans, coordinates, and promotes company-wide fixed asset inventory process.
• Coordinates, updates, and maintains the tracking database for new and existing capital and non-capital fixed assets.
• Conducts periodical fixed assets physical inventory.
• Coordinates and records transfer of equipment with Facilities and Operations, and updates the assets module with each transfer.
• Reconciles fixed assets module with related fixed assets general ledger, and coordinates any variances with relevant team.
• Provides assistance with the implementation of processes in relation to fixed assets safeguarding for new, renovations and existing stores.
• Assists with the development of written processes and procedures for identifying, tracking, transferring, reporting, and disposing of fixed assets.
• Responsible for the monitoring of depreciation and amortization account.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Certified Public Accountant.
• Has 5 years relevant experience in General Accounting / Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Knowledgeable in MS Excel, Word, PPT. Keen to details. Highly organized.
• Full-time position available.
• Willing to work in Makati.
