Ensure that initial contact with perspective and current employees is professional and friendly and assists in ensuring that the HR department runs smoothly and maintains organization.

Ensure that initial contact with perspective and current employees is professional and friendly and assists in ensuring that the HR department runs smoothly and maintains organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter large amounts or employment information into PeopleSoft
quickly and accurately.
·
Process new employee benefit enrollment, ensuring that the forms
are filled in completely and correctly.
·
Assist in maintaining various HR databases.
·
Maintain employee files in an organized and efficient manner.
·
Provide clerical support for the Human Resources dep
·
Listen to current employees questions and direct them to the
appropriate member of Human Resources.
·
Complete internal employee transfer eligibility forms by
checking for past disciplinary action.
·
Respond to requests for employment verifications.
·
Assist in maintaining various HR databases.
·
Maintain employee files.
·
Assist in maintaining job posting board and information center.
·
Provide clerical support for the Human Resources department
including copying, faxing, typing, and supply maintenance.
·
Provide answers to routine employee questions, directing them to
more appropriate members of Human Resources, when necessary.
·
Prepare periodic standardized reports.
·
Complete internal employee transfer eligibility forms by
checking for past disciplinary action.
Education & Professional Certifications:
·
High school diploma or equivalent with a year of directly
related work experience;
·
or formal trade or technical skill training with six to twelve
months directly related work experience.
Candidate Profile:
·
General working knowledge of various software applications such
as Microsoft Word and Excel.
·
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to organize
and maintain confidential files.
·
Knowledge of general office practice and business etiquette.
·
Ability to follow through on work assignments with limited
supervision.
