Position: System Engineer
The Systems Engineer
role, working in conjunction with Apple’s Enterprise and Education team, is responsible
for providing high-level technical advice and solution guidance to Customers
and Channel partners. Focused on developing and fostering relationships with
key customers, Apple resellers and strategic industry partners, the role
requires maintaining superior technical competence and the ability to present
that knowledge, both formally and informally.
The position also requires development of sales plans and proposals in direct consultation with Sales, Channel and the Customers. Strong technical skills with iOS and OS X are critical. Additionally, skills in the area of mobile application development, integration and security are highly desirable. The position will be based in Manila and will report to the Systems Engineering Manager – South Asia.

Description
- Actively maintain a high level of competence in both Apple and industry wide technologies so as to be equipped to answer customer & reseller enquires efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with sales staff to assist them in achieving company targets by:
- Preparing and delivering technology updates and solution presentations to customers
- Keeping resellers up to date and motivated in order to maximise Apple sales opportunities
- Facilitating solutions by design and verification process.
- Identifying, communicating and exploiting sales opportunities
- Actively cultivate relationships with reseller staff in order to ensure ongoing skills development and the best customer experience
- Maintain links with and encourage the development of a skilled Apple technical community
- Develop and foster relationships with technical staff and decision makers at major customers
- Provide ongoing feedback to the SE, sales and management team on competitive products
- Direct Interaction with external customers and industry bodies. Present as required at industry events
- Provide timely reporting as required by management
Education
A Tertiary qualification or a minimum of five years relevant experience in a technology role

Conditions of Employment
This is a 20% commissioned, full-time position
Regional travel will be required on a semi-regular basis
Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience
