Job Description:

What is the role?
The associate internal business systems programmer/analyst analyzes client requirements documentations to write EDI map or forms specifications and build AI maps and IW/TG4E/AL/AIC forms, and ensures timely and defect-free delivery.
What you will be doing:
FORM DEVELOPER:
•Develops or builds easy to moderate forms (inbound and outbound) based on the required document, structures, and specifications from clients.
•Develop either IWF or TG4E forms
•Develop CSV, XSLT and PDF for IWF
•Develop Active Products request; AL report / AIC or AO templates
•Develop TLW forms
•Develop Standard Barcode Label
•Handle simple to moderate change request
•Applies simple to moderate changes or enhancements to forms.
•Prepares test data and performs unit testing to ensure deliverables are defect free.
•Perform Integration Testing with the map developer in Local & Pre-production environment
•Perform QA testing for easy to moderate forms
•Performs functional test on forms that have completed the development phase via requirements based testing to ensure maps are defect-free
•Investigates simple forms that encounter issues during user acceptance testing.
•Coordinates queries on requirements to Senior Developers or Project Leads
•Asks technical assistance from more experienced peers (developers at intermediate or senior level).
•Communicates overall status of form development / changes to Project Lead
•Escalates issues or concern to Project Lead
•Communicates overall status of form development / changes to development leads and changes in map status to other interface parties (i.e. Lead Analysts, Functional Testers, and Integrators).
•Releases the quality tested forms for implementation.
MAP DEVELOPER:
•Develops and builds EDI specifications and maps (inbound and outbound) based on the required document, structures, and specifications from clients.
•Applies simple to moderate changes or enhancements to EDI map data translation process or map logic.
•Does paper mapping to define map rules based on clients' requirements.
•Prepares test data and performs unit testing to ensure deliverables are defect free.
•Communicates overall status of map development / changes to development leads and changes in map status to other interface parties (i.e. Lead Analysts, Functional Testers, and Integrators).
•Develop TLW forms
•Can develop CSV, XSLT and PDF for IWF
•Develop either AIC, AO or AL report Template
•Develop Standard Barcode Label
GMS DEVELOPER:
•Develops and builds EDI specifications and maps (inbound and outbound) based on the required document, structures, and specifications from clients.
•Applies simple changes or enhancements to EDI map data translation process or map logic.
•Does paper mapping to define map rules based on clients' requirements.
•Prepares test data and performs unit testing to ensure deliverables are defect free.
•Communicates overall status of map development / changes to development leads and changes in map status to other interface parties (i.e. Clients, Analysts, and Integrators).
•Performs investigation and troubleshooting in a Unix/Linux environment.
•Analyzes set up outside AI.
Position Requirements:
•Educational Requirement: Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
•Must have basic XML background
•Must be knowledgeable of any programming language
•Able to express self well in both written and verbal communications
•Great attention to details
•Must be a fast learner
•Must be self-motivated and flexible
•Able to work independently in a fast paced environment
•Can handle multiple tasks
•A good team player
•Knowledgeable in basic Unix/Linux commands necessary in production troubleshooting
•Educational Requirement: Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
